This was the final week before Wednesday’s November roster announcement and a final opportunity for the players to convince US Soccer that they were worthy of a look. It was another good week for young Americans, with several good club performances (such as Pulisic scoring again for Chelsea and McKennie returning from injury and picking up an assist in the DFB Pokal) and Sergiño Dest’s decision to commit to the United States. For any new readers, the rating at the end of each update reflects how much I believe he should be called up to the senior national team at the next opportunity (1-nowhere near ready; 10-absolutely call him up and start him).
