U.S. international Bill Hamid has signed with Danish side Midtjylland on a free transfer from D.C. United.
The Superliga and MLS sides announced the move Wednesday, with the 26-year-old goalkeeper joining Midtjylland on a contract through 2022. The first homegrown signing in United history, Hamid leaves MLS after eight seasons with the club.
