The United States under-18 national team opened their three-match friendly trip with a 4-0 win over Chivas in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Ernesto Espinoza opened the scoring in the 26th minute off a free kick.
Nick Taitague converted a penalty kick in the 66th minute to double the lead.
Chivas conceded an own goal, deflecting a Justin Rennicks' cross into their own net, in the 80th minute.
Taitague scored his second of the match in the 90th minute, converting an Arda Bulut assist.
The U-18s will face Universidad de Guadalajara on June 2nd and Atlas on June 7th.
