The U.S. national team will open the final round of World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF against Mexico in November after defeating Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday to win its group.
The U.S. national team will host rival Mexico on Nov. 11 to kick off CONCACAF's final stage of World Cup qualifying.
That matchup was set Tuesday as the U.S. clinched the top spot in Group C of the semifinal stage by recording a 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago in Jacksonville, Florida. Mexico's position as the Group A winner, meanwhile, has been secure since March.
The Americans will then travel to face the Group B winner (Costa Rica or Panama) four days later, with Mexico visiting that group's runner-up.
