USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann told his young players to keep it simple and enjoy themselves in Tuesday's friendly against New Zealand.
Keep it simple and enjoy yourselves.
That was the message USA manager Jurgen Klinsmann gave the young players on the U.S. men's national team before they took the pitch for Tuesday's friendly match against New Zealand at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C.
The result was a 1-1 draw as the Americans played without their top two goalkeepers and veteran Clint Dempsey, who is out with a heart condition. USA, which was a 2-0 winner over Cuba last week, won both previous matchups with the All Whites by identical 2-1 scores.
