The U.S. will bring 13 players from its 2015 World Cup-winning side to the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
U.S. women's national team head coach Jill Ellis has named a 20-player roster to represent the USA at the 2016 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Championship in February.
Among those making the cut is 17-year-old Mallory Pugh, who scored her first senior international goal in her first senior-team cap against Ireland on Saturday. Other young players making the team include Jaelene Hinkle, Lindsey Horan, Stephanie McCaffrey and Samantha Mewis.
Longtime captain Christie Rampone and midfielder Megan Rapinoe missed out on the roster due to injury, while Amy Rodriguez and Sydney Leroux will not take part due to pregnancies.
