SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Colombia made relatively easy work of the U.S. men's national team, defeating the hosts 2-0 in the curtain-raiser of the Copa America Centenario. An early goal from Cristian Zapata and a James Rodriguez penalty just before half-time put Los Cafeteros in firm control and while the U.S. threatened occasionally from set pieces, Colombia cruised to victory.
