The United States under-17s defeated hosts France 3-2 to win the Montaigu Tournament title on Monday.
The victory marked the second time the U.S. has won the tournament, having also lifted the trophy in 1992.

Tim Weah -- son of ex-AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain great George Weah -- opened the scoring for the United States in the fifth minute after a goalkeeping error from France keeper Yahia Fofana left the PSG U17 forward with an empty net at which to shoot.
