Josh Sargent scored on his debut as a youthful United States side beat Bolivia 3-0 in an international friendly in Chester, Pennsylvania on Monday.
Sargent, 18, marked his first senior cap with a goal, while fellow 18-year-old Timothy Weah also scored as the U.S. cruised to a comfortable win over a Bolivian side who finished second-from-bottom in CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying last cycle.
But it wasn't any of the youngsters who would open the scoring in 37th minute. Instead, the honor fell to 25-year-old LAFC defender Walker Zimmerman who rose above a defender and guided Joe Corona's corner kick past a well-beaten Guillermo Viscarra from the center of the box.
