Following the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup/2023 Asian Cup draw on Wednesday, Group G drew a lot of the attention simply for the fact that all but one of the five teams in the group are Southeast Asian sides; Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.
