Turkish side Kayserispor hoping to tie Ghana and Atletico Madrid's Mensah to long-term deal

The Turkish outfit have set sights on securing full ownership of the midfielder at the end of his current loan spell

Kayserispor president Erol Bedir has revealed their desire to sign Atletico Madrid loanee Bernard Mensah on a permanent contract.

The midfielder joined the Anatolian Star in a season-long deal from the Rojiblancos, having prior had a similar short-term stint with Super Lig side Kasimpasa.

So far this term, the 24-year-old, who is currently out injured, has made 22 league appearances involving 21 starts and three goals.

"The player has been on loan to our team since last summer," Bedir said, as reported by Sabah Spor.
