Timothy Weah Scores Game-Winner for Celtic

Yesterday, United States Men’s National Team forward Timothy Weah scored the game-winning goal for Celtic FC in a 2-0 away victory over St Mirren. Weah featured as a left-winger in this Scottish Premier League (SPL) match, earned his first start since February, and opened the scoring in the 15th minute.

Initially, defender Mikael Lustig forced a save from the St Mirren goalkeeper who pushed the ball right back to Lustig. From inside the six-yard box, Lustig took a second shot only to have it again saved by the keeper. However, the shot deflected up in the air to Weah whose header from about two yards out hit off the crossbar before going into the back of the net.
