The Eintracht Frankfurt defender will miss the World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago and Mexico due to a hamstring problem
Timothy Chandler has withdrawn from the United States national team roster with a hamstring injury.
The Eintracht Frankfurt defender played 72 minutes in the DFB-Pokal final on Saturday, a 2-1 loss for his side against Borussia Dortmund, before being named to U.S. roster on Sunday.
Chandler has yet to play for Bruce Arena's team, as he previously missed two U.S. World Cup qualifiers after a suspension left him unavailable for the initial contest. The defender would have likely been in the mix with DeAndre Yedlin and Jorge Villafana for a starting fullback spot in the upcoming games against Trinidad and Tobago and Mexico.
