Timmy Chandler’s Eintracht Frankfurt beats Bayern Munich in DFB-Pokal final

Eintracht Frankfurt pulled off a shock upset, defeating German giants and Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, 3-1, in the DFB-Pokal final at the Olympiastadion Berlin.

Ante Rebiu0107 opened the scoring in the 11th minute for Die Adler. Robert Lewandowski tied the match in the 53rd minute for Bayern, but Frankfurt secured the win, the cup, and a spot in next season’s Europa League with another goal from Rebiu0107 and a 96th minute insurance effort from Mijat Gau0107inoviu0107.

The match was an opportunity to close the door on some unfinished business, as Frankfurt lost year’s final to Borussia Dortmund.
