Timmy Chandler withdraws from USMNT roster with hamstring injury

It was announced today that Timmy Chandler will be leaving camp due to a hamstring injury. He’ll miss out on the friendly this weekend and both World Cup Qualifiers coming up afterwards.

With the Eintracht Frankfurt defender leaving camp, the roster is down to 26. Leaving Head Coach Bruce Arena with 10 defenders. There were going to be at least four cuts ahead of the World Cup qualifiers, as no announcement has been made on whether or not Chandler would be replaced on the roster.

Saturday of course is the friendly against Venezuela, a tune up match for the upcoming CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers against Trinidad and Tobago on the 8th to be played in Colorado and El Tri at the Azteca on the 11th.
