The year is 2010. The United States Men’s National Team is entering it knowing that they were selected in Group C at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Joining them in Group C was England, Slovenia, and Algeria. The team began the year on a rocky note, losing to Honduras 3-1, a team that they had helped qualify for the World Cup just a few months before. They loaded up the front part of their schedule with quality teams to prepare for the biggest tournament, and with that came some tough matches.
