Today, the United 2026 World Cup bid committee, representing the United States, Canada, and Mexico, narrowed their list of bid venues that they will eventually present to FIFA next year as part of their bid for the tournament. It is expected that the final list for the bidwill include roughly 16-18 venues across the three nations for the 48-team, month-long tournament, with at least 12 venues hosting games should the United Bid be selected.
The new list of possible host cities:
Canada (4) - Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver
Mexico (3) - Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey,
United States (25) - Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New York/New Jersey, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, Tampa, Washington, DC.
