Oft-injured USMNT striker Terrence Boyd could be following in the footsteps of so many of his fellow national team teammates and coming to Major League Soccer this winter.
After several seasons of stuggling with knee injuries, it appears as if he’s about to trade in the Bundesliga reserves for MLS.
According to ESPN’s Taylor Twellman, who has a fantastically stellar track record of accurately reporting American transfers, Boyd will join the New York Red Bulls on loan for their upcoming season.
Boyd’s current club, RB Leipzig is owned by Red Bull, who also operate RBNY among other clubs around Europe and South America.
