Now at Heracles in the Dutch Eredivisie, the 22-year-old is thriving with regular playing time.
De la Torre grew up in San Diego, California and played with local powers Nomads and San Diego Surf. He joined the Fulham Academy in 2013 after being identified by a scout and regularly traveling for several trials, opting for the English club over “staying home” or “going to the residency program in Florida.
