It appears that yet another American is set to leave Europe and return to Major League Soccer. The Star Tribune reports that Josh Gatt will sign with expansion club Minnesota United soon and join their inaugural roster ahead of the 2017 season.
Gatt, 25, was once one of the most exciting prospects in the U.S. national team pool with his world-class pace and ability to find the net with Molde FK in Norway. He emerged onto the scene in 2011 with highlight reel efforts that piqued USMNT fans’ interest. He received his first international cap in 2012, but then the injury bug hit him hard.
