According a report by Gregor MacGregor of BristolLive, English Championship side Bristol City are looking to acquire United States Men’s National Team goalkeeper Zack Steffen on loan from Manchester City. In December 2018, it was announced that Steffen would join Manchester City in July 2019 for a transfer fee in the range of $7-10 million. While Bristol currently have four first team goalkeepers, the article notes that Frank Fielding, who has made 7 appearances in all competitions this season, is “out of contract in the summer and is unlikely to be offered a new deal.
