The loan deal to bring Queretaro midfielder Luis Gil to MLS side Orlando City is nearing completion, multiple sources have told ESPN FC.
ESPN FC's Julie Stewart-Binks first reported the potential move back on March 27, only for MLSSoccer.com to report that a snag over the financial terms had occurred, casting doubt over whether the deal would be finalized.
But the two sides have been able to agree on the terms, with one source indicating that Gil, 23, has made arrangement to fly to Orlando on Wednesday.
Sources also confirmed to ESPN FC that Orlando is poised to send $50,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) from Orlando City for 2018 in exchange for Gil's rights, as first reported by MLSSoccer.
