The country lost out to the 'United' bid from the USA, Canada and Mexico for the 2026 tournament, but are not giving up easily
Morocco have confirmed that they will bid for the 2030 World Cup after losing out in the race to host the 2026 competition.
A combined bid from the United States, Canada and Mexico won the right to host the tournament eight years from now, earning 134 votes to the African nation's 65.
The result means the tournament, being hosted in Russia this summer, will return to north America for the first time since 1994.
