There have been a couple changes to the United States U-23 roster as January Camp opens in Florida. Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Matt Freese and D.C. United centerback Donovan Pines have been brought into the U-23 camp to replace David Ochoa and Julian Araujo. Ochoa suffered a right quad injury prior to camp, and Araujo is withdrawing due to illness.
The team is in a joint January Camp with the USMNT in Bradenton, Florida. They will train until later this month, when several of the U-23 players will be elevated to the USMNT roster for an expected friendly match that has yet to be announced.
