Hearts of Oak have extended their lead at the top of the Zone B table in the Ghana Special Competition following a 1-0 home triumph over Karela United on Wednesday.
Christopher Bonney's late penalty handed the Phobians full marks in the Matchday 12 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The top of the table win sends Hearts five points clear at the top. Despite the setback, Karela's second position remains unchanged due to the defeat of Wafa who suffered a shocking 1-0 home loss to Elmina Sharks. Wafa have now fallen to fifth on the log as George Amonoo's strike stung the Academy Boys.
