Mexico legend Hugo Sanchez is the top candidate for the vacant Costa Rica national team job, according to RadioCentro Deportes.
Currently an ESPN pundit, Sanchez last managed in 2012 but has put his name in the conversation for a number of openings since that stint with Pachuca. The Costa Rica job came open when Gustavo Matosas abruptly resigned, saying he was bored by coaching international football. Sanchez managed the Mexico national team from 2006-2008.
Mexico midfielder Andres Guardado will move to Major League Soccer in 2020, according to TUDN .
