Kenny Saief is on the move. The 24-year-old midfielder completed a loan move from KAA Gent to RSC Anderlecht yesterday, with the deal including an option for Anderlecht to make it a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
Saief emerged as a productive player for Gent and eventually caught the eye of former United States head coach Bruce Arena. After completing a one-time switch from Israel, Saief was eligible to compete for the USMNT and was named to the 23-man roster for the 2017 Gold Cup. After suffering a groin injury after a warmup friendly against Ghana, Saief was replaced on the roster.
