Jurgen Klinsmann and US Soccer have both denied the validity of a tweet by ESPN's Ian Darke on Wednesday that linked the national team manager to the manager position at Everton.
Darke tweeted: "Persistent Merseyside rumours that USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann could be next Everton manager."
The post was later deleted, but not before Klinsmann responded via Twitter to deny there was any truth to the matter that he was in line to replace current Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
