United States international Julian Green has parlayed his recent loan with 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Fürth into a permanent move to the club. According to an ESPN report, Green has signed a 2-year deal to move from Stuttgart. The 23-year-old, who recently scored for country in the recent draw with France, had three goals for Greuther Furth in 24 appearances last season, including the goal in their final game that kept the Shamrocks from being relegated to the third division.
Clearly both Greuther Fürth and Green will be looking for more production in the 2018-19 season, and perhaps the club’s commitment will provide a boost for the forward/winger who, for a variety of reasons, has lacked stability at the club level throughout his career.
