Raheem Sterling could cap off an incredible season by captaining England in the Nations League semi-final against the Netherlands, according to manager Gareth Southgate.
The game would be Sterling’s 50th cap for his country, coming when he is only 24 years old.
Sterling’s club team, Manchester City sealed a historic treble on Saturday, when they beat Watford 6-0.
