The Sportpesa Shield Cup final between holders Kariobangi Sharks and Bandari has been postponed until Sunday, after heavy rainfall pounded the Kasarani area.
The rain started in the 34th minute and did not relent forcing the officials to postpone the match. Bandari were leading 2-1 at half-time from Yema Mwana's brace. Patilah Omoto scored Kariobangi Sharks goal.
Mwana scored the first goal in the second minute as he managed to beat Gad Mathews with a long-range effort.
He grabbed his brace in the 23rd minute after he sneaked into Kariobangi Sharks box and eventually fired past Mathews for Bandari's second goal.
