A brace from Aimen Mahious condemned K'Ogalo to the second tier competition as USM Alger will progress to the group stage of Caf Champions League.
It took USM Alger only three minutes to make their intentions known as they scored the opening goal to stun their hosts.
Oualid Ardji took a long throw which found Mahious who headed past Fredrick Odhiambo in Gor Mahia's goal.
