This year FIFA has added at least two more countries to the group of playable women’s national teams with Norway and the Netherlands. The original 12 teams are Germany, USA, France, Sweden, England, Brazil, Canada, Australia, Spain, China, Italy, and Mexico. Right now the only mode for women seems to be playing your way through an international tournament. (Clubs, EA Sports. Add women’s clubs.)
Unfortunately Japan, who would have been a fantastic addition to the list of women’s teams, are a part of Pro Evolution Soccer, so their likenesses can’t be included in FIFA games.
As always FIFA player rankings are fairly meaningless in the context of the real world but don’t let that stop you from debating who should have actually been in the #1 spot.
