The U.S. international has extended his stay with the Bundesliga club for another three seasons
Borussia Monchengladbach has announced that U.S. international midfielder/defender Fabian Johnson has signed a contract extension through the 2019-20 season.
The 29-year-old's contract was set to expire at the end of the 2017-18 season, but he has put to rest any lingering doubt about his club future by penning a new deal.
“With his versatility on the pitch and his calm, reliable character in the dressing room, Fabian has developed into a leading player within the team,” Borussia sporting director Max Eberl told the club's official website.
