As the European seasons begin to wind down, every piece of injury news regarding U.S. internationals becomes relevant and stressful. Today, some good news from Germany emerged as Fabian Johnson returned to training for Borussia Monchengladbach.

The news from the club stated that Johnson had a torn thigh muscle that’s kept him on the sidelines since March 16. Nearly six weeks later he’s back in training and appears to be returning to full health just in time for the United States men’s national team ahead of their two crucial World Cup qualifiers in early June.
