Dick's Sporting Goods Park to host USA vs. T&T World Cup qualifier

The U.S. national team will return to suburban Denver for a Hexagonal meeting with the Soca Warriors on June 8.

The U.S. national team is returning to suburban Denver, with Dick's Sporting Goods Park selected to host a World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago on June 8.

U.S. Soccer announced the decision Monday, marking the third straight cycle in which the Commerce City, Colorado, venue has hosted a qualifying match. The Colorado Rapids' home field famously was the site of the "Snowclasico" match in March 2013, which saw the U.S. record a 1-0 win over Costa Rica amid heavy snow.
