Following a lengthy trial that began two months ago, Rangers have announced that they have signed Chicago Fire defender/midfielder Matt Polster. The deal is pending some paperwork, but he has been given a jersey number and scarf to hold over his head so barring any unforeseen difficulties, the deal is all but done. His move comes after the 25 year-old missed most of the 2018 season following a pair of knee injuries that required a lengthy recovery.
The deal is reportedly through 2021 as the versatile player becomes the newest American to join a Scottish Premiership side.
