The U.S. international missed Newcastle's match against Reading with a thigh injury, leaving his availability for World Cup qualifiers up in the air.
U.S. international DeAndre Yedlin has been ruled out of action for one or two weeks after suffering a thigh injury.

Yedlin, who plays for Championship side Newcastle United, was unavailable for his club's match against Reading on Monday.
And after the game, Newcastle coach Rafa Benitez provided an update on Yedlin.
“Yedlin didn’t realize he had the problem against Brighton," Benetiz told reporters.
