The last time I wrote about DeAndre Yedlin, it was to bring you good news. He had just started back training with the rest of his Newcastle United teammates. Well, now I have to deliver some bad news: Bruce Arena has said that because of his injury and I would assume lack of fitness, Yedlin will not be called into camp for the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers for the United States against Costa Rica and Honduras.
There was hope that Yedlin would feature for Newcastle midweek in their League Cup match and then get called up.
