Daryl Dike’s appearance last night for the United States Men’s National Team has allowed for a surprise move to occur. Earlier, Orlando City announced the 20-year-old forward will head to EFL Championship side Barnsley FC on a short-term loan with a conditional right of recall. According to Julia Poe of the Orlando Sentinel, the deal includes an option for Barnsley to convert the loan into a permanent transfer, with the price tag at $20 million for 80% of Dike’s rights.
