There may only be one team qualified for CONCACAF’s six-team final round of qualifying, but the confederation has announced the schedule.
CONCACAF released the schedule for the final round of its 2018 World Cup qualifying section Friday, and a potential opening-day matchup between Mexico and the United States on Nov. 11 highlights the draw.
Mexico is currently the only team qualified for the six-team Hexagonal round, having already won Group A in the semifinal round over the likes of Canada, Honduras and El Salvador. Its position as Group A winner will place it on the road for its Hex opener against the Group C winner, which could end up being the United States.
