It’s Wednesday, so that means it’s Community Corner time! This week, we turn our attention back to the United States Men’s National Team. As U.S. Soccer appears set to name its next head coach any day now, the thoughts turn to who that coach will bring into his first January Camp. Normally, January Camp is one where many MLS-based players who haven’t received a shot with the USMNT. It’s a chance for players to show that they have what it takes to become a part of the national team picture moving forward.
Several players have become regular mainstays on the USMNT after having their first cap in the January Camp.
