The 2020 Concacaf Champions League seems like it took an entire year...because it did. But, it ended last night when Tigres beat Los Angeles Football Club 2-1 to claim their first Champions League trophy. Once again, a MLS team fell short in the final, as LAFC joined Real Salt Lake, the Montreal Impact, and Toronto FC in getting the runners-up medals in the Champions League era. Only D.C. United and the LA Galaxy have won a Concacaf championship trophy since MLS started.
