Well, we finally have a head coach. Gregg Berhalter was introduced officially yesterday as the new head coach of the United States Men’s National Team, ending a 14-month process that began with Bruce Arena’s resignation on October 13, 2017. Throughout that time, the team was in a state of transition with interim head coach Dave Sarachan leading the charge, but no real plan was announced. Even as Carlos Cordeiro was elected president and his eventual hire of Earnie Stewart as the first-ever USMNT general manager, there was no transparency of how the process of finding a new coach would go.
