Wondo is the leading goal scorer in MLS history and in a lot of ways he epitomizes one of the unsung aspects that make the league compelling - he’s a DII college guy who didn’t get starts until he was in his mid 20s and has fired of 10 straight seasons of 10+ goals. It would be like if the guy who held the most important record in the league he played in sat on the bench through half of the prime of his career.
