U.S. international Timothy Chandler limped off in the 71st minute as Eintracht Frankfurt secured another season of Bundesliga football on Monday.
Haris Seferovic scored the only goal of the game to help Eintracht Frankfurt to a 1-0 win over Nurnberg at the Grundig Stadium on Monday in the promotion/relegation playoff.
Frankfurt knew it had to attack after last week's 1-1 draw at home and did just enough to see off Nurnberg in the return.
The U.S. will now be forced to wait on Chandler's status, however.
