Vipers SC have regained their four-point lead at the top of the Ugandan Premier League after snatching a late win against Busoga United on Saturday.
The Venoms needed a late strike from midfielder Bobosi Byaruhanga to bag maximum points in the match played at Mighty Arena in Jinja.
Byaruhanga came on as a second-half substitute for Abdul Karim and was in the right place at the right time to power home a cross from Fahad Bayo.
Vipers have now extended their lead to 27 points, four off second-placed BUL who had beaten Kyetume 2-0 earlier on Friday.
