The American striker, who impressed in his first Bundesliga campaign, ended speculation over his future by putting the pen to a new contract
Bobby Wood continued his summer of commitment this weekend as he signed a new contract with Hamburg, the club announced Saturday.
The American striker, who got married a few weeks ago, signed a new deal that ties him down to the club through 2021.
"Bobby is a modern, young striker, who has mastered the leap from the second to the first Bundesliga in the last season, without great difficulties adapting," Hamburg sporting director Jens Todt said in comments published on the club’s website.
