Interest in Hamburg and United States striker Bobby Wood continues to heat up as he keeps banging in goals this season. Last week it was reported that several Premier League clubs are interested in Wood, but that Hamburg aren’t willing to sell. However, reports out of Germany claim that they might not have a choice. Apparently Wood has a release clause of €10 million in his contract. So, if a club comes along and is willing to meet that figure and he’s ready to leave, he’ll be gone.

German weekly Sport Bild reported on Wednesday that Wood has a €10 million release clause in his contract, with interested clubs able to trigger it as early as this summer, but Todt hopes the player recognises that Hamburg have helped his career.
