A strong Swansea showing in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Liverpool was not enough to convince new owners Steve Kaplan and Jason Levien to stick with Francesco Guidolin as manager.

1. Fitness

If one thing was evident during the loss to Liverpool, it was that Swansea's squad fitness is perhaps not where it should be. The team were unable to maintain the high pressing game that had seen them take an early lead, and by dropping deep in the second half Swansea allowed Liverpool a way back into the game.
